Our Team
Martin moved to Victoria in the early 1990s from Adelaide with the vision to support rural communities. Under Martin’s guidance, the family business has grown to become “The Big Shed People”. Martin continues to support our farmers and the Australian steel industry - and keeps an eye over the numbers in the business.

Lennie’s involvement with Action began back in 2010 as a building consultant before taking up the role as Sales Manager. Since then, Lennie has travelled the country, working with farmers to design and build their ideal shed. In his own time, Lennie enjoys scouting out wineries and other hidden country gems.

Having been part of the team for 15 years, it’s safe to say Vince knows a lot about farm sheds! Vince keeps an eye on operations and production and is passionate about continually improving our processes and designs.

An integral part of the team since 2013, Jason has considerable farm shed design experience and advice. Jason is always happy to have a chat whether it’s working out the most cost-effective configuration for your hay storage - or discussing the football scores.

Sarah joined the team at the end of 2016 taking up a role in marketing. Sarah enjoys learning about our customers interests, keeping up to date with latest agricultural developments and looking for exciting ways to get the story of “The Big Shed People” out there.

Warren manages the material purchasing and oversees Accounts Payable. With Warren’s long term industry experience (over 30 years!), he can wear a number of different hats, including R&D and building consultant!

Allan works closely with our building consultants, production and installation teams to ensure your Action experience is straightforward and hassle-free. This includes managing the council permit application and coordinating trades on your behalf.

Give us a call and you’ll likely chat with Sharni - which is sure to put a smile on your face! As well as answering the phone, Sharni assists Accounts Receivable and Sales -and keeps the office running smoothly and well-stocked with coffee beans, Chicken Crimpies and Tim Tams!

Ben joined the team at the start of 2021, making the move from Melbourne to the northern Grampians. This proved to be an excellent move for our team! Bringing extensive project management experience, Ben works with Allan to manage projects through to final sign-off.

Walter has quickly become an invaluable team member since he began at the start of 2017. Working with our team of draftsmen and engineers, Walter keeps our workshop team busy with expertly drawn shed plans and computations.

Adrian heads up a specialist role which includes quantifying all shed materials for purchasing, arranging and overseeing the logistics and scheduling hot-dip galvanising. This is an important cog in our process, requiring a lot of technical shed ‘know-how’!

Introducing Kierra! She joined us in 2023 and has been instrumental in assisting our building consultants and supporting our valued customers with outstanding service throughout the sales journey.

Jason recently joined the team full-time, injecting our drafting team with years of experience and expertise. As well as working on the drawings and site plans for the more complex projects, Jason is a long-serving volunteer at his local CFA – and a passionate Hawks supporter and soccer fan!

Jarryd joined the Action team in 2023 and has quickly become an integral member. Jarryd spends his time making sure he is putting together the most cost-effective option for your shed and that every detail is carefully considered.

Lester joined the team in 2021 and made an immediate impact with his passion for photography and videography. As well as bringing creative flair to our sales and marketing team, Lester spearheads our customer service program and is always looking for new ways to make the customer experience unforgettable – for the right reasons!

Meet Wayne who joined us in 2022 bringing his military expertise to our team. Wayne’s job is an important one. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency and results, Wayne keeps our star workshop team performing. Wayne also keeps our workplace and job sites safe and compliant and prioritises the well-being of all staff and contractors.

With a passion for hands-on work, Bruno began his journey in the Action workshop. After learning the intricacies of shed manufacturing, he gained valuable on-site experience by installing sheds across Victoria. Now as a project manager he oversees projects from council approvals through to completion.

Vince joined the team in 2022 as our Financial Controller. His strong background in finance and agribusiness brings extensive expertise and skill to our organisation. As well as managing our financial projects and helping us kick goals, Vince is very passionate about football (apparently, it’s not called soccer?).

Janelle, one of our enthusiastic consultants has the in-depth industry knowledge required to deliver functional and cost-effective farm shed designs. What really sets Janelle apart is her bright personality and her commitment to making the shed planning and design process an enjoyable experience.

Introducing Jasmine, the newest member of our team! Since joining the team in late 2023, Jasmine has hit the ground running in her roles as executive assistant and accounts payable. Jasmine also keeps our customer service team on the ball. This involves scheduling regular updates to keep our customers well informed about their shed project.
