Project Update – Mainstream Aquaculture Facility

We were excited to be providing a building solution to help facilitate and accommodate the growth of Mainstream Aquaculture in Werribee.

Teaming up with Hutchinson Builders, we supplied and delivered the 112m (L) x 37m (W) x 9m (H) shed which joins Mainstream Aquaculture’s other state-of-the-art facilities where they grow premium Barramundi. These facilities allow Mainstream to retain and firmly secure their position as the largest supplier of Barramundi fingerlings in the world as well as helping them achieve their mission; ‘To feed the world with premium, sustainably produced, and nutritious fish’.

With the project set to be fully completed in August 2017 take a look at the stages so far.

November 2016: The main roof sections lifted.

Being lifted in two sections and involving four big cranes, the team put in a fantastic effort to have the shed standing by the end of the day.
